NOTES, INVENTORY
and the New BYRON

Even the original BYRON had a place for your notes on each book.  It didn't have word-wrap yet.

The original BYRON had only two folders:  an Inventory and Shopping list.

A user requested that we add a second shopping list (for used books) and that's why BYRON now lets you add more folders on your own.

And here's where we are now.

Locales were the last major addition to the old DOS version of BYRON.  We upgraded BYRON to version 3 for Windows shortly after that.  Blurbs came a few months later, and the Windows BYRON kept that basic look for several years even though we kept adding more functions.

BYRON 4 came out in 2003.  We redesigned the book window, introduced the BYRON Timeline, and then Favorite Authors.  We haven't stopped adding functions yet.
