It's hard to believe but those were all the genres BYRON had back then.

Plot points were entered in a separate window.

The series window hasn't changed that much.

Characters were also added after the first year.

Here's an example of the Match function.  If you look close at the window captions, you'll see how we first searched for characters named Andrew; then for Penelope.  And then Match found the books that have both.

So if you only remembered that a book had characters named Andrew and Penelope, BYRON would be able to find it.
