BYRON requires that the BDE (Borland Database Engine) be installed on your system.  Although BYRON's setup program automatically installs a BDE for you, transferring to a new PC may require that you download one separately.

You may also be sent to this web page if an updated version of BYRON requires that you upgrade your BDE.

It is a large file (3.76MB) but upgrading your BDE is easy.  Just download and open this file bde52install.exe.

This file is an installation program.  Make sure that you run it after downloading it.  You will not need to keep the file after running it.
